Our Story
Roots To Table began with two things we’ve always loved… bringing people together and spending time in nature.
For years Jason and Charlene hosted gatherings, dinner parties, and events with friends and family. Charlene became known for creating beautiful charcuterie spreads while Jason always had a passion for building and creating products that people would be proud to use and share.
During that time they also traveled to many places around the world. No matter the country, culture, or language, one thing was always the same.
When people gathered around the dinner table, they slowed down. They shared stories, laughed, and connected on a deeper level.
Back home, surrounded by forests and maple trees, an idea began to take shape. What if they could create handcrafted wood pieces like live edge charcuterie boards, custom crib boards, custom cutting boards and tables designed to bring people together?
That idea became Roots To Table.
Today Jason, Charlene, and their small team craft high quality wood pieces designed to be used, shared, and enjoyed for years.

Roots To Table is built around a belief that runs deep for both Jason and Charlene.
The table is the heart of the home.
It is where families gather. Where conversations happen. Where friendships grow. Where many of life’s most meaningful memories are made.
Some of Jason and Charlene’s most cherished memories come from sitting around the table with their families growing up. Later, as their own family grew, many of those same moments happened again around their own table.
Those experiences shaped how Jason and Charlene think about the things people bring into their homes.
Jason focuses on building products and a company that deliver a true WOW experience for customers. That means creating pieces people are proud to use, proud to show, and proud to give as meaningful gifts.
Charlene leads the creative side of the brand, shaping the imagery, presentation, and packaging that bring each piece to life.
Together they focus on creating an exceptional experience across every part of Roots To Table. From the product itself, to the packaging it arrives in, to the service customers receive long after their purchase.
Because when something is made with care and intention, it becomes part of the moments people remember for years.
And many of those moments happen around the table.

Every Roots To Table piece begins with carefully selected hardwood and a commitment to quality.
Inside our workshop, raw lumber is transformed into handcrafted pieces designed to last for years of gatherings and everyday use.
Using professional woodworking equipment and hands on craftsmanship, each piece is shaped, sanded, and finished with care.
Wood is a living material. Every grain pattern, edge, and detail is unique, which means no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
From charcuterie boards and crib boards to signs, tables, and other handcrafted pieces, our goal is simple.
