When you purchase any Roots To Table cutting board, charcuterie board, serving tray, or other wood product, you’re investing in top-tier craftsmanship and genuine customer care.
This 10-Year Warranty underscores our commitment to quality—backed by action, not just words.
We build our products to last, and we want you to feel 100% confident in your purchase. That’s why we offer a 10-year warranty on materials and workmanship. Here’s what that means:
Covered Defects: Cracking, splitting, or structural failures that are a direct result of faulty materials or workmanship under normal household use.
Repair or Replace: If your board develops one of these defects within 10 years, we’ll repair or replace it at no extra cost to you
Important: This warranty applies only to normal use scenarios (like cutting, serving, or light prep work) in a residential setting. Commercial or heavy-duty use may require a different level of coverage—contact us for details.
Wood is a natural material and requires proper care. Our warranty is strong, but it doesn’t cover every possible scenario:
1 - Improper Care & Maintenance:
Putting your board in the dishwasher or soaking it in water.
Storing it in extremely humid, excessively dry, or high-heat areas (e.g., near a heater for weeks).
Failing to regularly oil or wax the board with mineral oil or similar alternatives.
Using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
2 - Extreme Conditions:
Exposing your board to temperatures below 0°C (32°F) or above 40°C (104°F). These extremes can cause wood to expand, contract, or become brittle.
3 - Normal Wear & Tear:
Expected knife marks, surface scratches, or color/texture changes from regular use.
Natural expansion or contraction due to humidity.
4 - Misuse or Abuse:
Using the board as a hammer, cutting surface for red-hot pots, or near open flames.
Leaving outside exposed to the elements
Intentional damage or neglect.
5 - Unauthorized Alterations:
Reshaping, sanding, refinishing, or other modifications by non-authorized parties.
6 - Acts of God/Unusual Circumstances:
Floods, fires, or other disasters beyond normal control.
We believe taking care of our customers should be simple:
1 - Document the Issue:
Capture clear photos or a short video showing the defect or damage.
2 - Provide Proof of Purchase:
Have your order number or receipt on hand.
3 - Contact Us:
Email our support team at care@rootstotable.com.
Include a detailed description and relevant photos/videos.
Warranty claims must be initiated within 10 years of purchase; for a refund, contact us within 90 days.
4 - Next Steps:
We’ll respond within 3 business days with instructions. If the claim is valid, we’ll guide you through repair, replacement, or a refund (if within 90 days).
Extend the life of your board by following a few best practices:
Hand Wash Only
Rinse with warm, soapy water and dry immediately.
No Soaking or Dishwashers
Excessive moisture or high heat will warp and crack wood.
Oil or Wax Regularly
Use food-safe mineral oil or a beeswax conditioner at least once a month—or whenever the board appears dry.
Store Properly
Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity. Let the board air-dry fully before putting it away.
