If you're looking for a way to impress your guests with a truly unique charcuterie display, this Spill-Over Charcuterie Bouquet is the ultimate showstopper.
Whether for a special gathering like a wedding or anniversary, or a romantic dinner, or upscale event, this arrangement is sure to steal the spotlight.
12 wooden charcuterie cones which serve as the flowers base. (Click here to get on Amazon)
12-inch bamboo skewers which are used as the flower base stems (Click here to get on Amazon)
Hot glue gun & glue sticks (Click here to get on Amazon)
Small round tapered floral styrofoam (Click here to get on Amazon)
Tall glass or jar, for stability while assembling. I used one of our tall drinking glasses.
Tea towel or floral paper, to wrap the base.
Fresh greenery and optional fresh flowers
Your favorite charcuterie snacks (See step 5 below for list of foods used in this display)
Live Edge Charcuterie Board (Click here to check out our gorgeous walnut charcuterie boards)
To start, you’ll need to attach a skewer to each wooden charcuterie cone.
Place the small tapered floral styrofoam into a tall glass or jar to keep it stable.
Apply a small amount of hot glue to the top portion of the skewer.
Carefully press the glued skewer into the base seam of the cone, ensuring that the tip is hidden within the seam .
Hold the skewer in place for a few seconds to allow the glue to set.
Insert the skewer into the floral foam block so it stays upright as you work on the others.
Repeat this process until all 12 cone flowers are assembled.
Now that your cone flowers are ready, it’s time to create the bouquet shape.
Adjust the height and position of the cone flowers to create a balanced, natural-looking bouquet shape.
Once you're happy with the arrangement, carefully remove the bouquet from the glass.
To give the bouquet a polished, finished look:
Wrap the base with a tea towel or floral paper to mimic the appearance of a traditional flower bouquet.
Adjust the wrap so it looks neat but still has a natural, organic feel.
Now, place the entire bouquet onto the charcuterie board where it will be displayed.
To keep everything stable:
Apply a small bead of hot glue between a few cones to gently tack them together.
Start inserting greenery into all the open spaces between the cones.
If desired, add fresh flowers for extra beauty and texture.
Slide in long breadsticks throughout the bouquet to create dimension and fill any remaining gaps.
Since the cones are lying on their sides, we want to prevent food from shifting:
Place disposable condiment cups inside each cone. These help hold the food in place and also prevent moisture from seeping into the wooden cones.
Now, start filling the cones with your charcuterie selections.
I used:
✅ Chocolate wafers
✅ Pistachios & olives
✅ Meat and cheese roses
✅ Grapes, cherries, strawberries, kiwis, and blackberries
✅ Macarons & brownies
✅ Pearl bocconcini
This combination creates a perfect mix of sweet, savory, and fresh elements. Feel free to customize the fillings based on your personal preferences or event theme!
Stand back and admire your masterpiece! Make any final adjustments by:
Ensuring the greenery is balanced.
Checking that all charcuterie items are secure.
Adding a few more decorative touches if needed.
Your Spill-Over Charcuterie Bouquet is now ready to wow your guests! This setup brings elevated elegance to any gathering, blending the beauty of a floral arrangement with the indulgence of charcuterie.
Whether you're hosting a special celebration or just want to create a memorable culinary experience, this bouquet is a conversation starter that’s as delicious as it is beautiful.
